This historic house in Kingston, New York’s Stockade District was built circa 1770 and was the home of Abraham Louw. Just like nearly every other Kingston structure, it was burned in 1777 during the Burning of Kingston.

Between 1780-1820, it was a popular coffee house. Its distinct center gable was added in the 19th century.
